Emojis. Those colourful little symbols that seem to be just about everywhere. There are currently over 3,500 emojis 😯. And they've changed the way we communicate.
Originally introduced to create symbolic representations of emotions, emojis are now used extensively in many forms of communication: from text messages, to email; advertising and even film. 🎬
When considering the use of emojis in online booking, the obvious benefit would be the abililty to add them to communications, such as the 30+ automated emails Jezzam can send for you.
However their use can go beyond just expressing emotions in messages. There are so many different emojis that they can be used as visual clues. For example, you might want to use them to distinguish between different types of service by using emojis in your service names.
Emojis can certainly help to brighten up your online booking whatever way you decide to use them! 😎
New database, new features
We recently carried out a major upgrade to our database infrastucture. There were many benefits to this including a 2X performance increase 🚀.
Another benefit was of course (yes, you guessed it) - emoji support.
This new character support also enhances Jezzam's abitlity to better support Chinese, Japanese and other mulitbyte character sets. 👍
