How do I set up automated booking email reminders

When you sign up for your free trial, appointment reminders are automatically set up for you. There's nothing for you to do. Jezzam handles it all!


You can configure the time period for reminders in your Admin Panel but going to Settings > Communications. On the General tab you can set the period by selecting one of the time periods (from 2 hours to 2 weeks).


You can also switch off automatic booking reminders by selecting the "Never" option.

Can I turn off the automated booking reminders?

How many email reminders are sent to customers?

Do emails notifications allow customer to manage their bookings?

Yes, booking related email notifications contain a cancel link which lets your customers cancel their emails directly from the email. Cancellation will be allowed in line with your cancellation policy which you set via your Jezzam Admin Panel.

Booking email notifications also contain "add to calendar" ICS files which let your customer optionally add the booking to their own personal calendar.

Do staff receive email notifications about bookings automatically?

You can configure Jezzam to send booking notifications automatically to staff by going to the "General" tab at Settings > Communications in your Admin Panel.


By activating the "Staff Notifications" option, staff will receive emails for confirmed, amended and cancelled bookings. Staff only receive booking notification emails for bookings they are involved with.

Can I turn off staff email notifications?

Yes, you can turn of Staff booking email notifications by going to the "General" tab at Settings > Communications in your Admin Panel and deactivating the "Staff Notifications" option.
